Itinerary
Day 1: Game Drive from Arusha to North Serengeti National Park
Start your day early with a hearty breakfast, followed by a drive to Northern Serengeti (Kogatende) with a packed picnic lunch. As we travel along the Mara River, our safari guide will lead you to the best vantage points to witness the incredible spectacle of the Great Migration. Experience the excitement of watching wildebeests make their dramatic river crossings, observe predators such as crocodiles and lions in action, and enjoy sightings of diverse bird species amidst the stunning scenery of lush riverbanks and expansive plains. Afterward, head to the hotel to unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night. The Serengeti Great Migration is one of nature's most remarkable events, involving over 1.5 million wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles journeying across the Serengeti and Maasai Mara. During their migration, they face the daunting challenge of crossing the Grumeti and Mara Rivers, where they must navigate dangerous waters and avoid predators in their pursuit of fresh grazing lands, driven by the seasonal rains.

Day 2: Safari Adventure from Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti, starting early in the morning when wildlife is most active and the cooler temperatures are more comfortable. The day will be dedicated to wildlife spotting, with opportunities to see the "Big Five"—lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhinoceros—along with a variety of other species such as giraffes, zebras, crocodiles, and different types of antelopes. You will also have the chance to witness the Great Migration as it unfolds in the Central Serengeti. The game drive will conclude in the late evening, after which you'll return to Kontiki Serengeti Camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, spans approximately 15,000 square kilometers and is home to over 17 species of herbivores, 10 species of carnivores, 10 species of reptiles, and 13 species of birds. The park is renowned for its vast grasslands, acacia woodlands, the iconic Serengeti plains, and the spectacular Great Migration.

Afterward, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will be treated to breathtaking views of the crater floor's diverse habitats and a rich array of wildlife, including the "Big Five," zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
