Day 1: Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam for road trip to Nyerere National Park, Boat Safari
06h00 You will be picked up from your hotel at stone town and transferred to the Zanzibar seaport 07h00 Departure time from Zanzibar with Kilimanjaro Marine Fast Ferry to Dar es Salaam 08h30 Estimate arrival time at Dar es Salaam Seaport, where you will meet and greet with driver guide for safari briefing and then drive to Nyerere Park. Day 2: Discover & Explore Nyerere National Park (Selous)
Enjoy a stunning day for a game drive in Nyerere Park (formally Selous Game Reserves) The Park was formerly called “Selous Game Reserve,” and in 2019 it gained national park status. It is the largest national park in Africa. Covering an area of 30000 km2. This park’s history and sense of mystique add to its attractions. It was named after Fredrick Courtney Selous, a well-renowned explorer and British Army Officer in the Royal Fusiliers. Selous was killed in combat along the Rufiji River, which flows through the park. Today, it takes its name from Julius Nyerere, the first president of Tanzania, widely viewed as the father of the modern nation-state. Day 3: Walking Safari & Game drive in Nyerere National Park
06h00 You will be picked up for early morning walking Safari with an armed ranger, 09h00 Return to the Camp for breakfast at leisure, option relax at camp or continue with game drive 14h00 Departure noon game drive in Nyerere Park It is one of the largest fauna reserves in the world, covering 50,000 km2. The reserve is bigger than Switzerland, three times bigger than Kruger National Park, and twice as big as Serengeti.
